About Our Digital Kamishibai

What is a "digital Kamishibai”?

It is a downloadable version of our handmade English Kamishibai.

You can enjoy the traditional “sliding” storytelling style on any digital device while keeping the warmth of the original artwork.

Can I still purchase the physical paper Kamishibai?

Yes. We plan to offer international shipping in the near future.

For now, only the digital version is available.

Purchases & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other supported express checkouts.

I didn’t receive a purchase confirmation email. What should I do?

Some customers using Apple Pay or Google Pay may not receive an automatic email depending on their device settings.

Can I get a receipt/invoice?

Yes. A receipt is automatically sent to your email after purchase.

How do I download my Kamishibai?

After completing your purchase, you will receive a download link by email.

You can also access your download from the order confirmation page.

Is there a limit to how many times I can download it?

You can download the file up to the number of times specified in your order email.

Can I print the digital Kamishibai?

Yes, you may print it for personal or educational use.

However, redistribution or resale is strictly prohibited.

Can I use the digital Kamishibai in my classroom?

Absolutely. Teachers and educational staff are welcome to use our materials in their lessons.

Do you offer licenses for institutions?

Yes. For schools, libraries, or organizations wishing to use Kamishibai widely, we provide institutional licenses.

All Kamishibai are created by Atelier Sakai, a small creative studio in Niigata, Japan.
